Outdated Bathroom Gets a Makeover: New Vanity, Shower & Coordinated Hall Bath

This outdated bathroom needed more than a few cosmetic updates. The vanity felt tight, the shower pan was failing, and the space no longer matched how the homeowners wanted to use it. KLM Kitchens Baths Floors redesigned the bath around better storage, a stronger shower, and finishes that could also carry into the hall bath.
The Before
The original bathroom had seen better days. The vanity and countertop felt small and dated. The shower pan was bending and warping, which is more than a style problem, it is a durability issue in a wet room. The overall look was tired, and the homeowners were ready for a cleaner, more functional space.
The After
KLM started with a new Countryside vanity cabinet in a Harvest stained finish, specified with full-height doors for a taller, more finished look. A larger quartz countertop gave the vanity more usable surface and a cleaner, more current profile.
Above the vanity, KLM installed a Kohler mirrored medicine cabinet. It keeps everyday items off the counter while giving the room a brighter, more polished focal point.
The shower was rebuilt from the base up:
A new shower pan replaced the old pan that had been bending and warping
12" x 24" porcelain tile was installed on the shower walls for a larger-format, low-maintenance look
A new glass shower door with heavy 3/8" glass finished the enclosure with a more substantial, custom feel
Underfoot, KLM installed a luxury laminate floor designed for wet areas. It gives the bath an updated look while standing up to bathroom moisture better than a standard wood-look floor.
Coordinated Hall Bath
KLM also remodeled the hall bath, using the same Countryside Harvest vanity finish and matching quartz countertop. That keeps both bathrooms consiste nt from room to room instead of looking like two unrelated projects.
